Disney Springs has exploded with dining options. Since I had a really great burger at Pepper Market at Coronado Springs Resort, I was looking forward to trying out D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs Town Center. I hope you have a better experience than me at D-Luxe Burger. Here is my Disney dining review: D-Luxe Burger.
D-Luxe Burger is in the heart of Disney Springs at the Town Center. It is a Disney owned and operated restaurant. The decor inside is very rustic and beautiful. I especially like the ceilings. The quick service restaurant offers plenty of inside seating, as well as seating outside.
The food menu is simple and there are more shake and drink options than food. The burgers range in price from $9.99 to $12.99. I did not have any of the drinks, since I was paying out of pocket, I had the free ice water. I am dying to return and give the gelato shakes a try. If have had them, let me know how they are in the comments please! The shakes are $7.00, unless they are alcoholic or made with Godiva chocolate.
Me and my sister-in-law, Jen, had the Barbecue Classic Burger. Website description: Signature Blend topped with a Fried Onion Ring, Smoked Gouda, Bacon, Barbecue Sauce, and Lettuce. The price is $11.99 and that does not include fries. Jen ordered a order of small fries for $4.99, which we all ended up sharing.
They have 2 Kid Meals:
Cheeseburger Kid’s Meal – topped with Lettuce and Tomato served with Dannon® Daniamls® Smoothie and Carrot Sticks and choice of small lowfat Milk or small Dasani Water $7.99
Ground Chicken Burger Kid’s Meal – topped with Lettuce and Tomato served with Dannon® Daniamls® Smoothie and Carrot Sticks and choice of small lowfat Milk or small Dasani Water. Meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines for Complete Meals without substitutions. $7.99
My husband had the El Diablo Burger. Website description: Chorizo-and-Signature Blend Patty, Fried Banana Peppers, Pepper Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, and Chipotle Mayonnaise. The price is $10.99 and that does not include the fries. When we placed our order the cast member informed us that the burgers were cooked to medium and if that was ok with us. It is fine for me, but my husband prefers his medium rare. He ordered the medium rare burger.
After taking our order, we were given a buzzer and went to search for a table. We found a booth and only had to wait about 5-7 minutes before our buzzer went off and we got our food.
Our Review of D-Luxe Burger
My sister-in-law and I enjoyed our Barbecue Classic Burgers. They were good, just not spectacular. The barbecue sauce has a little bit of a bite by itself, but gets lost on the burger. So ask for extra if you want to really taste the sauce. I would of like the bun to be a little more toasted, as it became soggy pretty fast. If I go again, I will request a more toasted bun.
My husband got a raw meat burger and had to have them redo the burger. We are not sure how medium rare became raw. Once they recooked his burger, he did like it. He said the banana peppers gave it an unexpected spicy kick. The flavors were well balanced. He also liked the chorizo blend, which added a pork flavor and more spice.
After spending $5 on a small fry, we were expecting some awesome fries and were really disappointed. They weren’t awful, but they weren’t the worth the hefty price. I would compare them to Wendy’s fresh cut fries. On our order it did seem like they package the fries and then they sit until our burgers are ready. They weren’t hot and fresh, but they weren’t stone cold either. If you add the price of the burger, the fries, and a drink you are well over $20. Even that price for one meal is a bit hefty for a quick service at Disney.
Disney Dining Plan Details:
D-Luxe Burger accepts the Disney Dining Plan, It is one quick service entitlement. The burger is the entree, the dessert can either be fries, a float, or the macaroon dessert, and then you also get the a non-alcoholic beverage. This place is a little more budget friendly towards those on the dining plan, rather than those paying out of pocket.
