Star Wars Weekend Dates Announced at WDW

This is the first ever Star Wars Weekend at Disney where Disney since Disney bought Lucas Films. Star Wars fans everywhere are expecting a spectacular weekend because of the new partnership.

This years Star Wars fun will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May 17 – June 9, 2013.

The hosts this year are James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein. James, is known to Star Wars fans as the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series. Ashley, who started her show business career as a parade dancer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is the voice of Anakin’s ambitious Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

I have never been to a Star Wars Weekend. My husband is dying to go. He has wanted to go since we got married. Since Disney bought Lucas Films I have been trying to learn more about the Star Wars culture. I am still not converted to a Star Wars lover, but I have only seen one of the movies.
